Step 1: The first step in presenting a child for Baptism is to be registered members of  Our Lady of Light Catholic Community.  Having a parish community that you as a family can call "home," provides a place for you to regularly worship and to grow together in your faith, making it easier for you to instill in your child the practice of his or her religious faith.  The parish community will support you in bringing your child up in the faith.  You may register by stopping by the Parish Office, M-F, 9am-2pm or you register on line.

Step 2: Parents are asked to participate in one baptismal class.  The class is offered on Tuesday evenings, once a month, at 7pm.  Please call Jeanette Bishara in the Parish Office, 267-7088, ext. 240, to register for the class. 

Step 3: After you have taken the baptismal class, you may schedule your child’s baptism.  At Our Lady of Light, the sacrament of Baptism is normally celebrated during a Sunday Mass, most often at 4pm on Saturday or 10:30am on Sunday.
