The position will serve students in middle and high school, including preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, and potential to expand the ministry into Young Adult Programs. Successful candidates will have exceptional experience and drive for enthusiastically engaging our youth in formational, social, and stewardship activities. The Youth Minister will work closely with a team of adult volunteers to develop and execute a vision and mission for our youth ministry programming. Candidates should possess excellent communication and organization skills to work with parents, youth and staff. Successful candidates will have a B.A. or Master’s in Theology, Religious Education, Catechetics, or a related field and must be a practicing Catholic in good standing. Salary, with benefits, is commensurate with education and experience. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours with evening and weekend programs.
Our Lady of Light Catholic Community is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The position is full time, 30 hours a week. Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Duties include publishing of weekly bulletin, maintenance of the facility schedule, work with wedding preparation and annulment documentation and other duties. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and Publisher, be able to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment and work with sensitive matters with the highest level of confidentiality. Salary commensurate with experience.
