2008
Thank you to those
who supported our successful
Annual Fundraisers!
Progressive Raffle raised a net amount of $51,956.29
Lenten Fish Fry raised a net amount of $5,131.95
These
parish fundraisers went to support our Catholic Faith Appeal. |

Our
sincere thanks go to Our
Lady’s Society for
their generous donation of $15,000 to this year’s Catholic Faith
Appeal. Their generosity was made possible by the kind support of
the community of their fundraisers.
This
year the ladies fund-raised through their Fashion Show, Irish Concert
and a Bakeless Bake Sale. Much hard work, dedication and time go
into planning these events and we applaud the Ladies for the great work
they accomplish.
The
faith community’s continued support of Our Lady’s Society through
the fundraisers and membership is greatly appreciated. |

beneficial than giving a cash gift. |

securities held longer than one year, you can deduct their full fair
market value regardless of what you originally paid for them. |

year, but you can take any unused deduction over five succeeding

HOW DO I
MAKE A DONATION OF STOCK/SECURITIES TO MY PARISH? |
The
safest and most efficient way to make a stock donation is by electronic
transfer, between your broker and the Diocesan Broker. The Diocese
handles all our stock transactions. In order that we might track
the transaction, please notify us of what you have instructed your
broker to do, this enables us to accurately record your donation for tax
purposes. For more detailed information, please call the parish office at 267-7088
and ask for Hilary Whelan (extension 224).
