Whether you are full-time or seasonal residents, retired or in the height of your career and family, we have great opportunities for volunteers from all walks of life. Most of our ministries require no special expertise — just a big heart, willing hands, and a few hours each week or each month! VOLUNTEER MINISTRIES

LITURGICAL
- Altar servers – Assist the priest throughout the liturgy.
- Pew Ministry – Keep pews neat, tidy and stocked with materials.
- Environment – Transforms worship space for each liturgical season.
- Extra Ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion – Distribute the Body and Blood of Christ, typically serving twice a month.
- Greeters – Arrive early to greet and welcome, pass out bulletins.
- Linen Ministry – Washing and ironing of sacred linens done at home on rotating basis.
- Lectors – Proclaim the Lord’s Word during the Liturgy; lead the General Intercessions.
- Mass Coordinators – Responsible for the coordination for all aspects of the liturgies.
- Music – (See “in Music” section below)
- Sacristans – Prepare the worship space for celebration of the sacraments.
- Ushers – Welcome and assist at liturgies, coordinate gift bearers, facilitate offertory collections.
- Visitation Ministry – Bring the Eucharist to those who are homebound and in care facilities, and serve as Greeters and Sacristans for funeral celebrations.
MUSIC
- Choir – Serves our community in a number of ways, including at the Sunday 10:30am Mass and other services. Rehearses regularly.
- Instrumentalists – Must be trained, able to play independently during liturgy.
- Lyrical Ladies – Sings at different functions on campus and in the greater community throughout the year. Rehearses regularly.
- Sunday’s 5pm Worship Team – Serves our Sunday 5pm Mass with contemporary music. Rehearses regularly.
OUT IN THE COMMUNITY
- Thrift Store – Help sort, tag, display, and sell donations to aid the support of the Parish.
SEASONAL EVENTS
- (MAY) Mother’s Day Tea – Serve tea and show your love for the mothers in our parish at our annual Mother’s Day Tea. Volunteers help with tea, snacks, music, and decor.
- (JULY/ AUG) Backpack Blessing – The Back-to-School Backpack Blessing takes place the Sunday before the first day of school each year at the 10:30 Mass, and is followed by a donut and fellowship gathering in the Parish Center. Volunteers help with beverages, donuts, decorating, hospitality, and clean-up.
- (NOV) Christmas Craft Market – Our Christmas Craft Market occurs alongside the Knights of Columbus’ monthly Pancake Breakfast in November in the Parish Center. Volunteers help set up and breakdown tables and organize vendors.
WITH KIDS
- Catechists – Teachers of the faith to children, youth, families, young adults, and adults.
- Faith Formation – Family Formation, Footsteps in Faith (ages 3yr. – 5th grade), Children’s Liturgy of the Word (during Sunday 10:30am mass), Wee Ones (under 5yrs), OCIA, and Sacramental Preparation.
- Youth Ministry – Serves Middle and High School age teens. Adults are welcome to volunteer as core members or as part of the hospitality team.
