Teens travel to DC for Pro-Life March

Testimonies from our teens who attended the March:

My first trip to the March for Life was a memorable experience.  It was so cool to see so many pro-life people, young and old, from all over the country.  We heard so many inspiring speeches and saw so many inspiring signs.  It was also a beautiful time of year to be there for the March; the days we saw the monuments were perfect too.  Overall, it was a fun, inspiring trip that I’d love to do again-Ava Lloyd, 10th grade

On January 23rd through the 26th I went with a group from the church to go to the March For Life in D.C. While we were in D.C., we got to have so much fun together and we kept Christ by our side. I met a lot of new faces and created new friendships. Everyone enjoyed each other’s company. Lots of smiles and laughs were shared.

There were thousands of people there by our side standing up for all the unborn children of God. Seeing all those people made me realize how big a problem abortion is. God made those children for a reason, and they have a right to live. According to Jeremiah 1: verse 5, it states: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” We need to protect those who don’t have a voice. I learned so much throughout the March.

Overall, our trip to DC was an amazing experience! I got to understand more about the Catholic Faith and what we believe as Catholics. I made a lot of new friends and feel closer to the Church.  Those of you who have an opportunity to go to the March for Life, I would definitely recommend going on this trip. I guarantee that you will have as much fun as I did.  Hopefully, one year, abortion will be illegal.  In the meantime, God will protect those who are not born. He has them in His arms-Taylor Panichello, 9th grade
