Fall HS Retreat information for families of OLOL Students

Good to know:
Friday Oct 10, drop off by the south doors of the parish center between 230-3pm – Coach bus leaves at 3:15pm, do not be late
*Come dressed in your blue youth ministry T-Shirt. We will take a group picture in our shirts on Friday
*Bring Sunday best for Sunday morning Mass (covered shoulders, and pants or long skirts only please)
*Pack pillow, bedding or sleeping bag, bath towel, personal care items, and a water bottle. Click [Packing list] for full packing list.
*Rosary, bible, and journal are all encouraged but not required.
*We do not have plans to stop for food on our trips, so keep cash at home. All meals will be provided.
*Click [Student Dress Code] for what you may not wear while you are at the Abbey
*Click [Code of Behavior] for the expectations from the Abbey about conduct by Students and Chaperones. We will go over additional items with them as we depart.
*General Communication will be via GroupMe (make sure your notifications are on)
General Itinerary
Friday Oct 10
Drop off your student(s) between 2:30pm-3pm by the south doors of the Parish Center for departure at 3:15pm. Dinner will be ready for us at the Abbey at 6:30pm.
Snacks may be eaten on the bus, but students will clean up after themselves.
If your student is coming on Saturday, please arrive by 8:30am in time for the morning session.
Sunday Oct 12
Arrival back at the parish is expected around 4:30pm. Students will have attended weekend Mass and had lunch prior to leaving St Leo Abbey.

Donations/fees are still welcome to help cover our costs. You can make a payment here.
We have 48 students and 10 chaperones attending this weekend. Please be gracious and grateful to the adults who will attend to our children this weekend. They are all Fingerprinted and Safe Environment Trained. Click [chaperone guidelines] for more on Chaperones.
