Ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Venice, Fr. Eric brings a deep love for the sacraments, thoughtful preaching, and a genuine pastoral presence to parish life.
He is known for his approachable style, strong devotion to the Eucharist, and desire to help people grow in their relationship with Christ through prayer, Scripture, and the life of the Church. Fr. Eric values collaboration with parish staff and ministries, believing that a healthy parish is built through shared stewardship, clear communication, and trust.
Outside of parish ministry, Fr. Eric enjoys spending time with parishioners, engaging in spiritual reading, and finding moments of quiet reflection. He is grateful to serve the Our Lady of Light community and looks forward to walking with parishioners in faith, hope, and love.

Ordained for the Diocese of Venice, Fr. Mike has a heart for pastoral ministry and a special appreciation for accompanying people through the everyday moments of parish life.
Fr. Mike has a strong devotion to the Eucharist and finds great joy in celebrating the sacraments, especially the Mass and Reconciliation. He is known for his thoughtful presence, steady demeanor, and desire to meet people where they are on their faith journey.
In addition to his parish responsibilities, Fr. Mike enjoys building relationships within the community and supporting the many ministries that make parish life vibrant. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve at Our Lady of Light and to share in the faith life of the parish family.

Josh’s relationship with Our Lady of Light Catholic Community spans much of his life. He was confirmed here and spent his high school years deeply involved in the parish’s youth and music ministries. It was through that involvement that he met his wife, Rebecca, and developed a lasting connection to the community that helped shape his faith and values.
In 2022, Josh returned to Our Lady of Light in a professional role, bringing with him a background in accounting, operations, and nonprofit leadership. He previously ran his own accounting practice and has held positions in both the education and private sectors. As Business Manager, Josh oversees parish finances, administration, and daily operations, striving to serve the parish with stewardship, clarity, and care. His work is guided by faith, family, and a deep commitment to the parish that formed him and continues to be his spiritual home.

Suzi has been working at Our Lady of Light since July 2018 and with the Diocese of Venice since July 2012. Her job entails preparing the weekly bulletin, keeping track of the facility calendar, weddings, bookkeeping and various needs.
She volunteers with Our Lady’s Rosary Making Group and enjoys doing DIY Projects, crafting, baking, reading, and traveling.

Nely has been the receptionist at Our Lady of Light since September 2021. Her goal is to greet and welcome visitors and parishioners who need assistance and make them feel welcome in the environment. Her day is filled with answering phone calls, emails, and supporting everyone that she can help, and to be friendly to all.
On her free time she enjoys cooking, baking, and trying out new recipes, and traveling with her family and exploring new places.

Leah’s path to Our Lady of Light reflects a blend of faith, creativity, and service. Raised in Carmel, New York, she began studying music at a young age and later developed a professional career in television production, working with nationally recognized networks. During that season of life, she also experienced a deep renewal of her Catholic faith and began formal vocal study, discerning how her gifts might serve the Church.
Now residing in Southwest Florida, Leah serves the parish as a cantor and supports the day-to-day life of the community with care and hospitality. She is grateful to be part of a parish where faith is lived daily and where music, service, and welcome help draw people more fully into the life of the Church.

Peg has been involved in various ministries of the Catholic Church since the age of 13 and has worked for a Catholic Church since 1985, first in Savannah, Ga. and here at OLOL in Ft. Myers since 2001. It is her prayer that she brings the “Light of Christ” to all those she encounters in her ministry.

Amy’s faith and sense of service were shaped from an early age through her upbringing in an Irish Catholic family, where parish life and trust in God were central. Influenced especially by her grandmother and mother, Amy learned to approach life with patience, grace, and a deep reliance on God’s guidance. Becoming a mother herself further strengthened her faith and her desire to live it intentionally each day.
At Our Lady of Light, Amy serves with empathy and a sincere openness of heart, especially within Liturgy and Visitation. She hopes that everyone she encounters feels welcomed, understood, and supported, recognizing that each person’s journey is unique. Amy values quiet presence, compassion, and the importance of caring for both those who serve and those who are served within the parish community.

Diane has been our music director since 2021. Her goal to grow the music ministry to include everyone who loves to sing (or play) praise to God. She welcomes all vocalists, instrumentalists and musicians to join an ensemble.
Outside of work she enjoys – Drawing, Scrabble! Cryptograms, learning Spanish, hiking, and Listening to her husband sing while she plays the piano!

Lori is our parish Director of Faith Formation. Shortly after earning a Masters in Religious Education from Loyola New Orleans in 2007, Lori began working for Our Lady of Light in Children’s Ministry. She now serves mostly Adults through Sacramental Preparation for Baptisms and Marriages, coordinating adult formation programs, and liaising with our Hispanic community.
Lori and her husband Dave Crawford have been married 18 years and have six children.

Debbie has been Coordinator of Faith Formation since 2022. Her ongoing goal is to create an environment of hospitality where families feel welcomed and to receive peace and joy from being a part of our faith community. Additionally, I pray I can aid families to grow more deeply in love with Jesus and learn to journey through life with Him as their center of everything.
Outside of my love for anything CHURCH I also enjoy playing the piano, spending time with my family and travel.

Zoë brings a lifelong love for the Church and a deep commitment to ministry to Our Lady of Light. Raised in Miami, Zoë grew up actively involved in parish life, serving as an altar server and later as a leader in youth and young adult ministry. From a young age, she felt called to walk alongside young people, helping them grow in faith through formation, retreats, and community life.
After marrying and moving to Southwest Florida, Zoë felt drawn to continue that calling at Our Lady of Light. She hopes to be an instrument of God’s love, creating spaces where youth can encounter Christ and deepen their relationship with Him and His Church. Zoë is grateful to serve within a parish community that values faith, accompaniment, and the joy of growing together as the Body of Christ.
