Congratulations for the blessing that is your newest little one! Welcome to our adapted baptism preparation from Our Lady of Light.
The online series we will be using for this is called “Reborn” and is offered completely free of charge though our parish subscription. Aim to complete the series within a month’s timespan.
Here’s what you do:
-Go to www.formed.org
-Sign in: Use Our Lady of Light as your parish, they will send you a link by email which you will click to get into their huge catalog of free resources. (FYI all of these resources on the entire site are free for you use at your convenience!)
Baptism Parents:
Please watch these four videos using the study guide available on the website as your guide for discussion.
Each parent should fill out the small group discussion questions once you view the videos, pages 8, 16, and 24, and return those pages to the office as “Proof of completion.” You will need to turn in a separate set of answers for each parent.
You can use a blank sheet of paper for your responses if you do not have a printer, and return by mail or email, scanned or a picture. Please write clearly so we can read your handwriting.
Godparents:
Please watch these four videos using the study guide available on the website as your guide for discussion. Each Godparent and Christian Witness should fill out the small group discussion questions once you view the videos, pages 8, 16, and 24, and return those pages to the office as your proof of completion.
